GeekCon 2026 Malaysia: Dates, Tickets and What to Expect
GeekCon 2026 is going for a record. From 30 October to 1 November, MITEC in Kuala Lumpur hosts the Halloween edition, and the organiser is attempting to set the Malaysia Book of Records for the biggest TCG expo ever held in the country.
What Is GeekCon 2026?
GeekCon is a trading card and pop culture expo organised by Geek Collective Sdn Bhd. It brings together card vendors, collectors, competitive players, cosplayers and creators in one hall. The first edition drew over 10,000 attendees, according to the organiser. This second edition is the Halloween Edition, so expect Halloween playground, neon lighting, costumes and a darker theme across the floor.
Pokémon and One Piece lead the lineup, but GeekCon covers a much wider spread of games. Magic: The Gathering, Flesh and Blood, Digimon, Gundam, Dragon Ball, Cookie Run and Riftbound are all listed in the event’s ticketing, alongside Panini and sports cards. That mix makes it a good weekend for collectors, gamers, creators and pop culture fans who play more than one game, and for anyone still deciding which one to start.

GeekCon 2026 Ticket Prices
GeekCon 2026 tickets are sold on the official GeekCon Asia website. Each booking is emailed as a barcode, which you exchange for a wristband at the Registration Counter.
Entry Fee and 3 Days Pass
The single-day Entry Fee is RM15 per person, listed at 25% off the usual RM20. The 3 Days Pass is RM45, down from RM60.
Children below 12 enter free, subject to the event’s terms and conditions. If you buy a single-day ticket and later want more days, the site lets you upgrade and pay only the price difference.
VIP Pass
The VIP Pass is RM200 and covers all three days. It adds early entry from 10:00 AM and access to designated VIP areas and privileges.
For most visitors the general pass is enough. VIP suits people who want the first pick of the vendor tables before the crowds arrive.
What to Expect at GeekCon Halloween 2026
The floor is built around buying, trading and showing off. Vendors sell trading cards and collectibles, and visitors trade among themselves.
1. Free Gacha Grails Pull With Every Ticket
Every ticket holder gets one free pull at the Gacha Grails booth after signing up with them. Prizes range from one, three or five OP-17 booster packs to a PSA-graded Pokémon or One Piece slab.
The organiser puts the minimum value at about RM20 and the top hits at RM400 or more. One pull nearly covers a RM15 ticket.
2. Cyberpunk TCG Returns
Cyberpunk TCG is back for a second GeekCon. The game raised over USD 28 million on Kickstarter, and it is a good chance to see it in person if you have only followed it online.
3. Halloween Cosplay
Costumes are encouraged, and the organiser invites anime characters, superheroes, villains and monsters. Costumes and props still have to meet venue safety guidelines.
4. RM50,000 Trading Card Giveaway
GeekCon is raising its giveaway from RM30,000 to up to RM50,000 worth of trading card game prizes. The earlier giveaway was built around Pokémon Ascended Heroes, and this Halloween edition adds more to the prize pool.
The prizes include Pokémon Ascended Heroes, the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Elite Trainer Box (ETB) and One Piece OP-17 boxes. That covers both major games on the floor, so Pokémon and One Piece collectors each have something to chase.
Luka is currently running a Pokémon ETB 30th Anniversary giveaway campaign, with 5 ETBs up for grabs in total until 1 November. Join now!

GeekCon Halloween 2026 Dress Code and Halloween Cosplay
There is no strict dress code at GeekCon 2026. Visitors can wear whatever makes them feel like a geek, and the organiser encourages costumes for the Halloween Edition.
Anime characters, superheroes, game characters, villains and monsters are all welcome, and so is any original costume you come up with. You can go for a full transformation or keep it to small details like face paint, a themed accessory or a character-inspired outfit.
Tips for First-Time Visitors to GeekCon
- Pick your date carefully. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled once issued.
- Keep your wristband on all day. You can leave and re-enter on the same date as long as it stays intact. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
- Know what you are buying before you hand over cash. Our guide on how to spot fake Pokémon cards covers the checks worth doing at a vendor table.
- Check prices before you commit. Checking a Pokémon card at market value takes a minute on your phone and can save you from overpaying.
- If a slab catches your eye, it helps to know what a PSA-graded Pokémon card is and what the grade means for the price.
Planning Your GeekCon 2026 Weekend
Go on a weekday-style slow day if you want room to browse, or take the 3 Days Pass if you plan to trade across the weekend. A single RM15 day is plenty for a first visit.
