With the return of the iconic Mega Rayquaza ex and the introduction of new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, this expansion is shaping up to be a highlight for collectors and competitive players alike.

Whether you're looking to strengthen your deck, hunt for rare illustrated cards or add new favourites to your collection, Delta Reign offers plenty to look forward to. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming expansion, its contents, release date and expected availability in Malaysia.

Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution - Delta Reign: What Is It and When Does It Release?

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Delta Reign is an upcoming expansion in the Mega Evolution Series, officially scheduled to launch on 6 November 2026. The set brings back one of the franchise's most popular Legendary Pokémon in a powerful new form, alongside several other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.

The biggest attraction is Mega Rayquaza ex, which returns to the Pokémon TCG for the first time since the XY—Ancient Origins expansion. It is joined by Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex, giving players more powerful options to explore when building their decks.

The expansion also introduces a distinctive new card mechanic through Legendary Stadium cards. Each of these Stadiums consists of two separate cards that work together as one card when played, creating a larger combined illustration and opening up new strategic possibilities.

According to The Pokémon Company International, Delta Reign contains more than 135 cards. The expansion combines powerful Pokémon, new Trainer cards and collectible artwork, making it appealing to both competitive players and collectors. Official expansion announcement.

What's Inside the Pokémon TCG Delta Reign Expansion?

Delta Reign has more than 135 cards, including four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, more than 20 Trainer cards and more than 35 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations. Much of the set comes from Storm Emeralda, the Japanese M6 expansion that Delta Reign adapts for English release.

Delta Reign offers a mixture of battle-ready cards and collectible rarities. Here are some of the highlights players can look forward to.

1. Four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex

Mega Rayquaza ex is the centrepiece of the set. It is joined by Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex, and the set also has six regular Pokémon ex.

• Mega Rayquaza ex — The iconic Sky High Pokémon makes its highly anticipated return to the trading card game.
• Mega Golurk ex — A powerful new Mega Evolution addition.
• Mega Malamar ex — Another new Mega Evolution Pokémon that expands the set's strategic possibilities.
• Mega Golisopod ex — A new Mega Evolution option for players seeking different deck-building strategies.

These cards are among the expansion's main attractions, particularly for players who enjoy building decks around powerful Pokémon ex.

2. More Pokémon ex and Trainer Cards

Beyond its Mega Evolution headliners, the expansion includes six additional Pokémon ex and new Trainer cards designed to support different strategies.

Some revealed cards include Heat Rotom ex, Groudon, Kommo-o, Delibird and Zinnia's Trust. For example, Kommo-o can accelerate Basic Energy onto Dragon-type Pokémon, while Zinnia's Trust helps players switch their Active Pokémon and move an Energy card in the process.

These additions offer players more options for managing resources, developing attackers and adapting their strategies during a match.

3. Legendary Stadium Cards (Legendary Pyroduct)

Legendary Stadiums are new to the game. Each one is a pair of Stadium cards played together, and the two cards join up to form one combined illustration.

Delta Reign has six Stadium cards that make up three Legendary Stadiums. Pokémon says Legendary Pyroduct is one of the first two-card Stadium cards in the game's history, and you need both halves to play it.

4. Illustration Rare and Ultra Rare Cards

Collectors will also have plenty to chase, with the announced card lineup including:

• 14 Illustration Rare Pokémon cards.
• 17 Ultra Rare Pokémon and Trainer cards.
• Six Special Illustration Rare Pokémon and Supporter cards.

Among the revealed highlights are an Illustration Rare Enamorus and a Special Illustration Rare Aarune. These cards feature distinctive artwork that makes them attractive additions to collector binders, even for people who do not play competitively.

Overall, Delta Reign combines competitive deck-building potential with a broad selection of collectible cards. The exact cards available in individual packs will vary, so collectors should not expect to find every featured card in a single box.

Delta Reign Products and Pack Sizes

Each booster pack has 10 cards. The announced lineup includes an Elite Trainer Box, a Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, a six-pack Booster Bundle, 1-pack and 3-pack blisters, booster display boxes in 18-pack and 36-pack versions, and a Build and Battle Box.

Some products are tied to specific retailers, such as the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, so availability in Malaysia may differ from the list. An Elite Trainer Box usually bundles packs with accessories like sleeves and dice, which suits players building a deck.

When Is Pokémon TCG Delta Reign Available in Malaysia?

However, the international release date does not by itself confirm the exact Malaysian retail launch date, preorder schedule or local product availability. As of 13 October 2026, a separate Malaysian release announcement for Delta Reign has not been confirmed in the official Malaysia Pokémon TCG information available for this article.

Players in Malaysia should therefore keep an eye on the official Pokémon TCG Malaysia website and check with local hobby shops and authorised retailers for confirmed preorder dates, prices and stock availability.

Here is what Malaysian fans should know:
